Pimples, blemishes, acne, and zits are the most skin care complaints and embarrassment among teens and adults worldwide. They are discolorations on the skin and in some cases whiteheads and blackheads may be referred to as pimples. Some kinds of discolorations, called port-wine stains a person is born with, while others, like acne are caused by clogged pores. How to remove blackhead blemishes depends on what type of treatments you want to persue.

There are many types of acne pimples to be aware of and can treat. Comedones, pimples, zits, all begin with clogged oil, dirt, bacteria, and dead skin cells within the hair follicle. Inflammation occurs when you squeeze it, or a bacterium infects a comedone. Inflammation is characterized by redness, swelling and pain. There are 4 main types of inflamed blemishes.
1. Papules are red and inflamed lesions on the skins surface. Papules do not contain pus or whiteheads.
2. A pimple is a typical pustule red and inflamed with a whitehead.
3. Nodules are large inflamed lesions that occur very deep in the skin.
4. Cysts are large, inflamed lesions that feel like soft fluid-filled lumps which occur underneath the surface of your skin. Cysts are very painful and the most severe form of a pimple.

There are a number of causes that leave blemishes on your skin.
1. Environmental factors. Pollution can irritate the skin and leave discolorations on your skin.
2. Overproduction of oil in your skin.
3. Stress and hormonal changes. An active hormone called androgen can affect the pimples on your skin. This hormone increases the production of sebum, the skin’s natural oil. When the oil accumulates, chances will increase enough for bacteria to grow and clog the pores on your skin.
4. Women entering menopause are prone to hormonal changes.
5. Women who are pregnant or menstruating are prone to blemishes.
6. Reactions to certain cosmetics, foods or medicines.

Some blemish removal tips might become helpful for you in the process of keeping them under control.
1. Clean pillowcases. Change them as necessary because you sweat at night and your face rubs against the pillow and this will cause perspiration, dirt, and bacteria from the bed to come into contact with your skin.
2. Eat nutritious meals.
3. Make sure you don’t over clean. Over cleaning causes excessive agitation to your skin and oil develops.
4. Use oil free cosmetics.
5. Keep your hair and hands free from your face.
6. Drink lots of water. Water washes toxins from your body and out of your system.

1. Rinse at least twice a day with one-cup apple cider vinegar and 8 cups of water can be helpful.
2. You can use lemon juice on the affected area to bleach the area.
3. Liquid vitamin E applied to your skin is beneficial and helps heal your pimple.
4. Heat warm honey and apply on your face. Wash off with cool water, after about 10 minutes or so. Honey will help kill the bacteria on your skin.

In preventing pimples keep your face clean, avoid aggravating them, eat sensibly, keep your hair and fingers away from your face, and either use home treatment or over-the-counter treatments or see your dermatologist to get rid of blackhead blemishes.
